Paul more or less totally ignores Jesus’ particular acts, teachings, parables…. never in his writings does he engage in hermeneutics, in probing into the “deeper meaning” of this or that parable or act of Jesus. What matters to him is not Jesus as a historical figure, only the fact that he died on the Cross and rose from the dead—after confirming Jesus’ death and resurrection, Paul goes on to his true Leninist business, that of organizing the new party called the Christian community.
My highest defense of homosexuality would be that you prove it is unnatural, because this is truly spiritual. Any idiot can follow nature, but isn’t the truly great thing to say, I love you so much that I break all the laws of nature for you’?
There is a nicely-vulgar joke about Christ: the night before he was arrested and crucified, his followers started to worry - Christ was still a virgin, wouldn’t it be nice to have him experience a little bit of pleasure before he will die? So they asked Mary Magdalene to go to the tent where Christ was resting and seduce him; Mary said she will do it gladly and went in, but five minutes after, she run out screaming, terrified and furious. The followers asked her what went wrong, and she explained: “I slowly undressed, spread my legs and showed to Christ my pussy; he looked at it, said “What a terrible wound! It should be healed”, and gently put his palm on it.” So beware of people too intent on healing other people’s wounds; what if one enjoys one’s wound
